In order to contain the Ebola virus and stop its spread, the global community must intervene quickly. The health care systems in the most heavily infected countries, namely Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia, do not have the capacity to handle the burdens of the disease. Political powers need to enact and enforce policies that will help effectively contain the spread of the Ebola virus. Ebola is not only an African problem – nationals of the United States of America, Spain, Saudi Arabia and others have succumbed to the disease. The potential for it to spread worldwide is real. We must act now! We look forward to the day when we can celebrate #NoNewCases. To begin, we are encouraging all to edit and utilize the draft letter below. Please contact your legislators and request their support in the #Aid4Ebola Campaign.
